Every player has their own color — black or white. During their turn, a player puts down a disc to encircle the opponent's discs in a straight line. Any discs that are surrounded this way «switch sides» and become the current player's color. If a player can't make a legal move (for example, if they don't have an unoccupied space to put down their disc), they skip their turn.
