Loto is a traditional family game that came from Italy in the 16th century. It is commonly thought to enhance memory, patience, logic, and concentration.
In the game, each participant gets cards with fifteen randomly chosen numbers organized into three rows and nine columns, with five numbers in each row. The numbers on the columns range from 0 to 90, increasing from left to right. During gameplay, participants cross out the numbers on their cards that match the ones drawn by the host from a bag.
The winner is the first player to complete either a whole row on any card or all numbers on a single card, depending on the selected game mode. Certain numbers have specific nicknames, such as 12 being called «a dozen» and 44 known as «chairs».
