To start the game, put down any card from your hand. The defender must overcome all attacking cards. A non-trump card can be beaten with a higher card of the same suit or any trump. Only a higher trump can defeat a trump card. In Transfer Durak, if no cards are beaten, the defender can pass the role to the next player by playing a card of the same rank as the cards on the table. The suit of the top card under the deck determines the trump suit. The attacker can continue the attack by playing another card of the same rank as one already played in the current round, whether it's an attack card or a card played by the defender. After successfully defending, the defender becomes the attacker for the next round, and the player to their left becomes the new defender.
