The aim of sudoku is to fill in a $9 \times 9$ square ($9$ rows, $9$ columns, and $9$ $3 \times 3$ squares within the larger square) with the numbers $1$ through $9$. The numbers must be placed in accordance with the following rules: * Each number should occur only once in each row, column, and square. If you get stuck trying to find the right number, use the hint, which will tell you the right answer in the selected cell. The game offers some tips, which make it much easier to determine candidate numbers in cells. These tips are especially useful for difficult levels.
